Open Book Society wants to congratulate the British film director David Slade to his birthday!

David A. Slade was born September 26, 1969 in the United Kingdom. He began his career making music videos, including videos for ‘Aphex Twin’, ‘System of a Down’, ‘Stone Temple Pilots’ and ‘Muse’. David Slades first feature film ‘Hard Candy’ was released in 2005, 2007 he went on to the vampire movie ’30 Days of Night’ and this year he directed ‘Eclipse’, the third film in the ‘Twilight’ film series. He is rumored to be the director of ‘The Hunger Games’ movie.
