Review:

What a wonderful surprise, I read the first book and liked it enough to read this one and I’m so glad I did. Much improved flow and the characters were interesting and nicely fleshed out.

This is flagged as romantic suspense, however, it is very light on the romance aspect, so if you are looking for a story with a good part of it romance you won’t find it here. With that said don’t miss out because of that. the story is great and pulls you in form the very first chapter.

I enjoyed all the characters in this story. We even get to see the two main characters from the first book. They seem to be doing well and the author adds them into this story in a seamless way. Greer has a  lot of baggage in her history that has followed her into the here and now. Her character is very strong and seeing her walls come down was a nice touch. Tec has a lot of patience and is also, strong in a different way, they work well together.

The mystery of the story is solid and complicated in a good way. The author lays it out in a way that the reader doesn’t get lost. It’s easy to keep up with the action and by the time the mystery is revealed as the reader it makes sense and the twist is interesting.   There are a few twists, that makes this story shine.

I highly recommend this to readers who enjoy a fabulous mystery with a touch of romance, that’s written well.  I will definitely be reading more in this series.
