‘Twilight: Breaking Dawn’s’ birth scene promises as much intensity as the book
blog.zap2it.com: One of the pivotal scenes of “Twilight: Breaking Dawn” is when Bella (Kristen Stewart) starts to go into labor and Edward (Robert Pattinson) fears he is losing her. We will spare you the exact details in case you are trying not to be spoiled, but we can tell you it sounds like it will be as intense in the movie as it is in the books.
Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg tells E! Online that she and director Bill Condon have been doing rewrites of the scripts for the two movies. “We’re working on it,” she says of the birth scene. “And we’re working on it to be as intense as it is in the book.”
“I don’t think it’s about the amount of blood you show,” Rosenberg continues. “It’s about the intensity of it. It’s on their faces. It’s all from Bella’s point of view … it should feel visceral. I think it’s going to be pretty intense.”
Five things to look forward to from ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ DVD release
www.examiner.com: A specific date of release for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse on DVD has yet to be set (and this is not surprising considering the film is still in theaters in a lot of areas of the U.S.), but chances are, the film will hit DVD and Blu-Ray sometime this fall/winter, and there is a lot to look forward to from that occasion!1. DVD release parties: When Twilight and The Twilight Saga: New Moon were released to DVD/Blu-Ray, Borders, Blockbuster, Walmart, and others threw midnight DVD release parties across the country, and several of the parties included guest appearances by the cast and filmmakers. With The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, no doubt, there’ll be similar festivities arranged to ring in the occasion! It should be interesting to see who makes a stop where this time around.
Steamy ‘Breaking Dawn’ honeymoon talk with Stephenie Meyer, PLUS keeping it Edward & Bella focused
www.twifans.com: Are you hoping that the honeymoon in Breaking Dawn is hotter than fade to black which made us fade to sad? Will Bill Condon take some creative liberties and push the PG-13 envelope? Will Robert Pattinson need a modesty patch? Okay. You might not being thinking the last one but truth be told lots of Robsessed girls are! Don’t lie.
We know there have been tons of petitions to make Breaking Dawn rated ‘R.’ But in reality there are some very racy scenes in PG-13 movies. We brought up the sex scene in The Notebook to Stephenie Meyer during our interview. The Notebook is PG-13. We were floored that she has never seen the movie since we consider it an amazing love story.
There is something about Jackson that scares me. Looks like he can play scary characters really well. 😉 Girlfriend looks like an interesting movie. I really like to see them in other genres other than only twilight and they really love doing indie movies. What did you think of the trailer?
YaY, looks like Michael will be in the wedding scene, if not in more, we never know. And if he doesn’t come back for the second part, well we don’t here much from him after Bella gets married, so it’ll be okay, right? What do you think?
How many of you saw our sweet Peter live the other day? He was such a good sport answering every question he could, making everyone laugh, he had great comments of the twilight cast and a cute story about his wife. What did you think of Peter’s questions and answers?
Well, that’ll be sad. David did do an audio commentary for 30 Days of Night, if Eclipse doesn’t have one it’ll be missed. What are you waiting to see in the Eclipse DVD?
What did you think of Stephenie’s new fan junket interview?
How do you imagine the Breaking Dawn birth scene?
