Summit’s ‘Twilight’ Soundtrack DVD, BD Turns Gold

www.homemediamagazine.com: Nowadays Steve Nickerson, Summit Entertainment’s president of home entertainment, isn’t surprised by how well anything “Twilight” does at retail.

So when the Recording Industry Association of America, or RIAA, announced this month that the combined DVD and Blu-ray Disc releases of Music Videos and Performances from The Twilight Saga Soundtracks Vol. 1 had reached RIAA-certified gold status Nickerson was more pleased than surprised.

‘Twilight’ Films Inspire Four Addictive New Fragrances

calabasas.patch.com: Kimmy Cavallo is a former teacher whose experience blending fragrant oils has been fine tuned for over 15 years. Her business partner of five years, Heather Ramirez, comes from the luxury travel business as well as event planning.

Together, their mutual love of the vampire genre and the supernatural, especially the Twilight series, spawned a popular line of four wonderful oil perfumes under the brand name of Kimmy Makes Scents. The fragrances, Be.lov.ed, Pixie, Hybrid and Imprint are now on sale at Bella Ancora, Calabasas’ own consignment boutique and online.

Says Cavallo: “For both of us the fact that we made our idea a reality is very empowering. We both were huge fans of Twilight but more importantly we always longed to be entrepreneurs. This business has not only shown us that creative ideas can become reality, but that it can be an amazing learning experience as well.”

Peter Facinelli Talks ‘Breaking Dawn’ & Vampire Sex

www.accesshollywood.com: “The Twilight Saga’s” Bella and Edward get hot and steamy in “Breaking Dawn,” but Peter Facinelli said his Dr. Carlisle Cullen character wouldn’t be doing the same – not even with a little medicinal help.

“Just give us a small nugget for all the Twi-hards…something like, is there vampire sex?” Kit Hoover asked Peter when she stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Friday.

“Well, yeah, for sure,” Peter joked. “Not for Carlisle, he’s 350!”

“Viagra can’t even help him at that point!” Billy Bush added.

“Vampire Viagra,” Peter said with a laugh.

‘Twilight Saga’ nominations, awards, achievements, and recognitions galore

www.examiner.com: The Twilight Saga: Eclipse has been nominated in the 2011 Saturn Awards for “Best Fantasy Film,” per Variety. Those films which Eclipse is nominated against in this category are surprisingly mostly those with Twilight stars in them as well: Alice In Wonderland (which has Michael Sheen – “Aro”); Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (Jamie Campbell Bower – “Caius”); Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World (Anna Kendrick – “Jessica Stanley”), and two others.

Last year, New Moon was nominated for a Saturn Award, but the category then was “Best Horror Film.” This is something of a conundrum because, if anything, Eclipse had more frightening moments in it than did New Moon.

Kellan Lutz up for ‘The Bourne Legacy’

www.examiner.com: Does Kellan Lutz (“Emmett Cullen” in the Twilight Saga) have what it takes to be a big action star? Perhaps so because, according to Variety, he is among those actors who’ve met with Tony Gilroy (writer and director of the project) about The Bourne Legacy.

A few months back, it was announced that Matt Damon (who’d headlined The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, and The Bourne Ultimatum – all based on Gilroy’s adaptation scripts for Robert Ludlum’s Bourne novel series) wouldn’t be returning to the series, even though there are still six novels (and counting) in the series which have yet to be adapted.

Wow, Kellan getting to be Bourne would be amazing for him, if I’m not mistaken, he has always said that he would like to do something in the style of the Bourne movies. Although, if they do keep on doing more movies, I know some people who won’t be too happy with which ever actor they pick 😉 What do you think of Kellan being the next Bourne? Have you seen the movies?

Are you planning on seeing Billy’s new movies Drive Angry and Red Ridding Hood? What scene are you waiting to see with Billy/Charlie in Breaking Dawn?

Did you buy the Twilight Soundtrack DVD? What did you think of it?

What do you think of the Twilight inspired fragrances? I actually liked the combination of scents that the ladies used, it kind of does represent the characters, and I’m really happy that they made a perfume for Nessie 😀
