ROBERT PATTINSON TALKS “WATER FOR ELEPHANTS” WITH MTV

In his live interview with MTV on Friday night, Robert Pattinson talked about working with Tai the elephant, Christophe Waltz, and Reese Witherspoon in his upcoming film, “Water for Elephants”.  He also answered several fan-submitted questions and put to rest some rumors floating around such as being cast in the next Daredevil movie (not true, by the way).  The interview included a flashback to one of Rob’s first moments on MTV during “Twilight Tuesdays” during the filming of “Twilight”.

He also talked about the cross-country road trip he took from Los Angeles to New Orleans with some of his friends, doing karaoke in Texas, eating beef jerky, and drinking Dr. Peppers.

TWILIGHT STARS MAKE “10 BEST YOUNG FAMOUS ACTORS” LIST

Two of the stars of The Twilight Saga have made Screenjunkies.com’s list of the “10 Best Young Famous Actors” list.  Topping the list in the number one slot is Dakota Fanning.  Kristen Stewart also made the list, coming in at number eight.

1. Dakota Fanning. In 2001 Fanning got her first mainstream break with her role in “I Am Sam.” She has since become one of the most famous young, professional, and non-troublesome stars in Hollywood. One of the 10 best young famous actors because she has been well known, and respected since a young age.

8. Kristen Stewart. Her celebrity status became a famous actor when Stewart’s role as Bella Swan in the “Twilight” movies became known worldwide. Born in 1990, she has also starred in the movies “Into the Wild,” “Jumper,” and “Adventureland.” One of the 10 best young famous actors because her promising career has no signs of slowing down.

TWILIGHT STARS MAKE “10 BEST YOUNG MALE ACTORS” LIST

The two male leads of The Twilight Saga have ranked in the top ten of Screenjunkie.com’s “10 Best Young Male Actors” listing.  Taylor Lautner ranks at number seven on the list while Robert Pattinson rounds out the list at number ten.

7. Taylor Lautner – While he remains a joke to many people thanks to his shirtless moments, he is still a teen idol to millions of girls as the leader of Team Jacob. One of the best young male actors working, he has a number of movies lined up once his run on “Twilight” comes to a close in 2012.

10. Robert Pattinson – Robert Pattinson will have the most trouble of anyone in the “Twilight” cast to break out of being known for his role in the film. However, “Twilight” was his second giant franchise after his appearance as Cedric in the “Harry Potter” franchise. He proved in “Remember Me” he might have a career post-“Twilight.”

“BREAKING DAWN” WEDDING SCENE TO BE SHOT IN APRIL

According to AceShowBiz, Gil Birmingham spilled some details on “Breaking Dawn” production and let it be known that they will be shooting the wedding scene during the first week of April in Vancouver.   Shooting for the film is scheduled to wrap-up on April 13 despite the delays for weather and tsunami evacuation.

“BREAKING DAWN” SHOOTS AT ORPHEUM THEATRE IN VANCOUVER

Scenes for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” were filmed at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver last week.  Both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were on hand for the shoot and there is quite a bit of speculation as to what the scene is all about since there isn’t anything like that in the book.  Current theories are that the scenes are  flashback for Edward Cullen’s character – possibly to human life or to his time as a non-vegetarian vampire.  At this point, it is anyone’s guess and we’ll just have to wait to see who’s right.

ASHLEY GREENE’S “APPARITION” NOT SET TO RELEASE ‘TIL 2012

NINA DOBREV TALKS ABOUT KELLAN LUTZ IN “THE KILLING GAME”

Star of “The Vampire Diaries” Nina Dobrev recently spoke with MTV on her co-star in “The Killing Game“, Kellan Lutz.

“‘The Killing Game’ is an indie action film that Kellan stars in, and he blows it out of the park,” Nina told Hollywood Crush. “It’s his movie and he kicks ass in it.”

“Kellan does a really good job because as much as we’ve seen him in ‘Twilight‘ and other movies, this role is really all about him and he really delivers, and I think people are going to be really pleasantly surprised and excited to see him taking on such a big role.”

What do you think of Rob’s MTV interview or the Jay Leno one?  Apparently, the elephant farting on Reese Witherspoon was a really memorable experience for him!  I loved hearing about his road trip with his friends and I am so glad that he was able to have that experience without being recognized too often.

Congratulations to Rob, Taylor, Dakota and Kristen for making those top ten lists.  It will be interesting to see what happens with their careers over the course of the next several years.

What theories do you have on the scene(s) shot at the Orpheum in Vancouver?  Are you of the belief that they might be a flashback from Edward’s days as a human or might they be post-change while he was hunting humans?  Personally, I’m not ruling out a flash-forward scene of Edward and Bella.  Who knows, maybe Edward rented the place out just to do a special performance for Bella on her birthday or an anniversary?
