Intertwined: Chapter 11
After a night out in the forest Aden had verily slept. All his thoughts were focused on the fight with Ozzie and Victoria. Especially Victoria and how he longed see kiss her again. In the hall Aden came across Ozzie who warned him about saying anything about last night. Aden had no plans in telling Dan about the drugs but he would use it for blackmailing Ozzie if he ever did anything to him again.
Eve was proud of him for handling things calmly and without any more violence. Shannon told Aden about Ozzie’s plans to take his English paper and gave it back. Finally they were talking again. Shannon hadn’t spoken to him because of the other day that he left him in the forest, but Aden told him that he had gone to help Mary Ann apologizing. Aden had now striked one more person from his list of possible “wolfs”. It wasn’t Shannon, but whom else then.
They walked outside together hoping not to see Dan, but bad luck was on his side that morning. Dan was about to open his truck’s door when he saw Aden. The best way to solve this was to come clean, so Aden told him everything. It took Dan a while to calm down and believe him, and then he drove Shannon and Aden to school.
Once there he finally saw Mary Ann and decided that it was time to talk to her, too. But something was different in her. She didn’t have her smile, she looked tired and there were shadows under her eyes. Aden hoped to talk to her in class but Mary Ann wasn’t there or in any other. Where was she now?

John O’Conner “New Kid”
Eve: “What are you thinking? I can feel our blood pressure rising.”
Eve: “Oh, I’m so proud. You stood up for yourself without endangering your circumstances.”
Julian: “Shannon can’t be the werewolf. He did you a favor. The wolf would have chewed the paper up, spit it at you and laughed.”
Caleb: “Then lit you both on fire.”
Aden: “You better stop. You’ll get in trouble, and you don’t want to be on Ms. Carrington’s bad side. I hear she bites, and not the good way.”
John: “No, worries, bro. no one cares what I do. “
Aden: “So now you’re talking to me again? Why have you been avoiding me?”
Mary Ann: “What do you mean? I wasn’t avoiding you. At lunch, you avoided me”
