Open Book Society wants to congratulate the screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg to her birthday!

Melissa Anne Rosenberg was born August 28, 1962 in Marin County, California. She’s working in both film and television and has been nominated for two Emmy Awards, two Writers Guild of America Awards and one Razzie Award – she won a Peabody Award. Melissa Rosenberg worked on several TV series before joining ‘The O.C.’ writing staff. In 2006 she began writing ‘Dexter’, for which she recently completed her fourth season as Head Writer and Executive Producer. But we all know her best for her adaption of Stephenie Meyers ‘Twilight’ series.
