Open Book Society wants to congratulate the actress Anna Paquin to her birthday!

Anna Helene Paquin was born July 24, 1982 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Her first successful film was ‘The Piano’, for which she won the Academy Award in 1994. Anna Paquins acting career went on half a decade later when she appeared in films like ‘She’s All That’, ‘Almost Famous’ and the ‘X-Men’ franchise. But today we all know her playing Sookie Stackhouse in the HBO series ‘True Blood’, for which she won the Golden Globe Award in 2008. Anna Paquin is engaged to her ‘True Blood’ co-star Stephen Moyer (he’s playing Bill Compton).
