Some times I use a books cover to draw me in, the title of the book doesn’t always do it for me. This cover doesn’t do to much for me, I find it rather boring. It’s simple which I will give it that, I have read some books where the covers are all over the place and are super busy looking. At least the title of the book, ‘The Hunger Games’ Sounds really interesting.
United Kingdom
While I haven’t read ‘The Hunger Games’ yet, I know the gist of it. And I think this cover does an awesome job showing off what the book is really about. It looks pretty BA if you ask me.

Which cover encompassed the story the best?
What? That’s not the UK cover, that’s HORRIBLE! EWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Maybe it’s old or something, because the UK version I have is BEAUTIFUL and beats the US one 1000 times over!!! That said, the US one is still pretty damn awesome.
i like the hunger games i chouldnt stop reading the book it was awsome
omg, i am so glad i am not from the UK, or i didn’t get the UK book. no offense, but to me, the UK book looks terrible. the girl dosen’t even look like a katniss, why are there blood splatters all over the place? i dont really like the huge HG sign in the middle of the book. and it looks like a a 10 year old book. i don’t like the fact that they put a picture of a girl thats suppose to be Katniss. i think the reader should visualize the characters the way they want to. i really dont like the fact that they have shown her as cartoon character.
ALL THE WAY UNITED STATES!!!!
I like the cover with the mockingjay pin on it because it doesn’t give too much of the book away. It is very mysterious.
By the way I loved the book!
I like the fonts used and the treatment of the type better on the second book, but if you have read the book then you will see the significance of the gold pin on the first cover. So I really like that graphic a lot better
