Thomas Dekker (My Sister’s Keeper, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Terminator, The Sarah Connor Chronicles) has been chosen to play Adam.
“Cassie who discovers that not only is she a witch and part of a top-secret cover, but she’s also the key that will unlock a centuries-old battle between good and evil.” Adam is the oldest member of the coven.
I loved him in My Sister’s Keeper. He definitely has the acting chops for this part and he fits the description of Adam from the books.
Playing the role of Cassie will be Britt Robertson (Life Unexpected, Scream 4, and Swingtown).
Britt Roberston is gorgeous and fits my vision of Cassie perfectly. She and Adam will look amazing together. I haven’t seen her acting, is she good?
‘The Secret Circle’ finds its Faye: Phoebe Tonkin
Faye is 17 years-old and a member of the witches circle who wants to test the group’s powers. She is described as stylishly sexy and can play “the danger card.” She is curious about the new girl Cassie (Britt Robertson) and clashes with the coven’s leader Diana.
Faye can be a really nasty bugger and Phoebe Tonkin (Home and Away, H20: Just Add Water, and Packed to the Rafters) looks the part…like a total biotch although I have never seen her acting.
I am loving the cast members so far. They have my stamp of approval for Adam, Cassie and Faye.

If they put The Secret Circle on after Vampire Diaries, I think it will succeed. I am very excited for a series on witches. I just hope it succeeds. Witch series don’t have a good track record. I also hope they begin shooting the pilot ASAP because I’m not very patient.
