I love the sneak-peek into all of the new characters. I have to say that I think that they did a great job (appearance-wise) with casting Siohban. I love how wild the Amazonian Coven ladies look, but I keep thinking of Tyra Banks when I look at the picture of Zafrina. LOL! The one that seems to really jump out at me is the one of Vlad – he almost looks as if he could have been an immortal child. The image of Stefan does not come across as menacing enough for me. I really had a visual of him looking much more intimidating. Perhaps the on-screen persona will take care of that for me.
I always love to see the stills from the movie because they give clues into what’s going on in the film. I love the look of this one, but as a Twi-hard I can’t help but scoff at the need for all of those vampires to be huddled around a fire in the forest while wearing coats and scarves. I suppose that the cinematographic elements of this scene are much more interesting on the big screen that a bunch of vampires huddled up in the Cullens’ home.
