Social Networks are every where nowadays. With Twitter being one of the newer sites. People from all over Tweet, with Authors being no exemption. Our favorite authors have joined in on the fun. Talking about their books or simply just letting us know what they’re up to. OBS has decided to make it easy on you and list some awesome authors Twitters.

William Gibson

Is an American-Canadian writer who has been called the “noir prophet” of the cyberpunk subgenre of science fiction. Gibson coined the term “cyberspace” in his short story “Burning Chrome” and later popularized the concept in his debut novel, Neuromancer (1984). In envisaging cyberspace, Gibson created an iconography for the information age before the ubiquity of the Internet in the 1990s. He is also credited with predicting the rise of reality television and with establishing the conceptual foundations for the rapid growth of virtual environments such as video games and the Web.

Sarah Ockler

Wrote and illustrated her first book at age six—an adaptation of Steven Spielberg’s E.T. Still recovering from her own adolescence, she now writes books for young adults. Sarah has a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of New York at Buffalo and also studied creative writing through Denver’s Lighthouse Writers Workshop.

Sam Morton

A Rock Hill, SC native and 1985 graduate of The Citadel, Sam Morton is co-author of five fiction anthologies. He holds bachelors and masters degrees in English. He is a member of The Inkplots, a group of published writers and authors active in South Carolina’s vibrant literary experience.

Jennifer Karin

is an activist, professional writer, wife and mother of three boys—though not in that order. With over 20 years in public relations and advertising, Jennifer recently turned toward more personal creative endeavors as a columnist, author, and imagination advocate.Jennifer’s books include Letters to a Girl, The Bear Who Loves Halloween, and The Dreamstarter Books 1 & 2. The Dreamstarter Book won the 2009 Book of the Year Award from Creative Child magazine for the way it brings families together.

Kathy Temean

Is an author and award winning artist/illustrator, who has done commissioned art for many corporations, such as, The McDonald’s Corporation, Bristol Myers-Squibb, US Airways and numerous individuals in the Mid-Atlantic Region. You can find her art in many galleries across the Northeast.
