COMICS’ PROS AND PUBLISHERS REACT TO iPAD

It seems the comic world is liking the iPad and thinks it will broaden readership. One thing I really like about the iPad is the mobility of most types of entertainment in a slim flat object.  It is like carrying around your favorite library, newspaper, television, ipod, communications, and photo album all in one, on a screen that won’t make you go blind. Add a phone option…via speaker of course, because holding up the iPad to your ear is kind of ridiculous, and you want for nothing more to carry than your car keys.

I won’t be jumping on the bandwagon just yet, I want to wait for the second or even third generation. Let them work out any kinks and get more upgrades at lower pricing. What do you think?  Will you be getting the iPad? How do you think it will affect physical book buying? What about affects on using Kindle?
