‘Diaries’ exec wants more Matt, Jenna
www.digitalspy.com: The executive producer of The Vampire Diaries has admitted that she would like to develop more storylines for Matt and Jenna.
Julie Plec told Entertainment Weekly that she finds it difficult to write for the duo – played by Zach Roerig and Sara Canning – because they are unaware of the supernatural events in Mystic Falls.
“On a big picture level, you want to have human characters who don’t know things, because it keeps your world grounded,” she said. “It keeps a reality that’s hard to hold onto when everybody’s in the know about everything.
