User Review: Dark Flame (The Immortals) by Alyson Noel

I have just finished reading the fourth book of the Immortal Series Dark Flame. This had to be the best of all the books in the series. Seventeen year old Ever Bloom has been trying for quite some time to retrieve the antidote to the “antidote” (the elixir that prevented Ever and Damen from any physical contact) from a rogue named Roman. Well, that did not work out too well for her, because she tried to use magick to bind Roman to herself. However, she ended up binding herself to Roman. She made several other attempts at magick to reverse her spell and rid herself of the “monster” that lives inside her. As the book comes to a close there is a great surprise…. Does Ever get the antidote? Or has her worst nightmares become reality?

Dark Flame has to be, by far, the greatest book i have ever read. It is intense, dramatic, romantic, and funny. There is misfortune and fortune. Misery and happiness. Confusion and certainty. Anger and kindness. Hatred and love. This is a book I encourage all to read.
