TWILIGHT SAGA NEWS SEPT. 22ND: JACKSON RATHBONE, RENESMEE CULLEN, TWILIGHT CORN MAZE & MORE

‘Twilight’ Star Jackson Rathbone Gets Bitten By Hilary Swank!

hollywoodcrush.mtv.com: When MTV News’ Josh Horowitz caught up with Jackson at the Toronto International Film Festival, where the actor was promoting his upcoming drama “Girlfriend,” talk inevitably turned to the status of “Breaking Dawn” (more on that in the coming days). Then suddenly, as if on cue, actress Hilary Swank, who was waiting in the wings for her own interview, swooped into the frame, baring her canines as she lunged for Jasper’s neck! Okay, so it was just a playful bite, but it still caught the usually poised actor completely off guard!

Renesmee Cullen Now Being Cast for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I

www.24-7pressrelease.com: The casting directors are not having open casting calls for this role due to the extremely high profile nature of the project. Rene Haynes, who was the casting director that handled Native American roles for the Twilight Saga films New Moon and Eclipse, held open casting calls for the films. She was quoted as saying:

“It was crazy, especially in the early days, in the first four weeks after the announcement that my office was casting these roles we stopped counting emails after 20,000. We had created a dedicated email address for the project. We got so many we had to create another one.”

Harvesting memories at the farm (Twilight Corn Maze)

www.sltrib.com: Black Island Farms is again inviting people this fall to harvest memories, from the hayrides, slides built from giant hay stacks and freshly picked bounty at the farmers market available during the Harvest Festival. People can also brave a cornfield maze.

This year’s maze features the likeness of Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart of the “Twilight” movie series. Those attempting to find the one exit from the more than five miles of twists, turns and dead ends likely will spend more than an hour to make their way out. Anyone smart or lucky enough to make the correct decisions may be able to complete the task in 15 to 30 minutes.

Opening day is Friday.

blogs.coventrytelegraph.net: ABOUT a month ago, we heard that David Slade and Robert Schwentke were the two frontrunners to direct the next Wolverine movie.

Slade, who directed Hard Candy, 30 Days of Night and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, was said to be the frontrunner.

In an interview with The Vancouver Sun, Slade briefly mentions the Wolverine follow-up, saying: “I can say that I’ve met with Hugh Jackman and he is a very nice fellow, but you never know with these things.

“There are several projects I’m interested in now, and that’s one of them.”

Wow, I’m shocked by Hilary, I mean who wouldn’t want to bite Jackson and get away with it? I know I would be in that line, maybe not the first, but definitely in it 🙂 He even looked amazed… or scared. What did you think of that?

It’s nice to know that they’re looking for someone to play Nessie and that it won’t be all CGI or a scary robot-doll. I can’t wait to see who they pick. Too bad I don’t have any 4 year-old sister or niece 🙁 What do you think of this? Would you as a mom or dad fan of the saga take your kiddo?

What do you think of the twilight maze? How many of you would venture yourself in there?

What do you think of David wanting to direct Wolverine?

The twilight stars have good movie coming out, I would like to see them all, but I really can’t wait to see Jamie in Deathly Hallows. What did you thin of that? Join us in the discussion!
