FIRST SONG FROM “THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN – PART 1” SOUNDTRACK REVEALED

Summit Entertainment has unveiled the first song to be included on the soundtrack for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1”.  It will be a song by Bruno Mars called “It Will Rain”.   They also shared the cover artwork for the song on their official Facebook page.  The actual song has yet to be revealed, so stay tuned!

What do you think of Bruno Mars being included on the soundtrack?  Is his style anything that you imagined for any of the scenes in the book?

ROBERT PATTINSON TO RELEASE ALBUM OR APPEAR ON “BREAKING DAWN” SOUNDTRACK?

Since his the release of the soundtrack for “Twilight”, Robert Pattinson has developed a strong fanbase for his singing and musical abilities.  Fans have watched grainy YouTube videos of the star singing at open-mic nights in bars just to hear him sing.   There have been rampant rumors of him recording an album, but there may be some truth to them now.  Rolling Stone is reporting that Rob is about to record an album of original songs.   Their source reports:

“The album Rob will make will be guitar-based and drums, very organic-sounding, nothing pop. Like stripped-down Ray LaMontagne meets Van Morrison.”

However, MTV News is reporting that Rob’s people deny that he’s working on an album.  However, “Breaking Dawn” director Bill Condon has hinted that some of the Twilight Saga cast members may be lending some musical talent to the soundtrack.  Hmmmm…could he be referring to Rob, Jackson Rathbone, Billy Burke, Boo Boo Stewart, and/or Tinsel Korey?

What do you think?  Would you like to see Robert Pattinson put out his own album of original work?  If so, be honest – would buy or listen to it based on the fact that he plays Edward Cullen or would it be because you’re a fan of his work?

Would you like to see Rob, Jackson, Boo Boo, Billy, or Tinsel (or all of them) featured on the soundtrack? If you have a preference, who would you really want to see on the track listing?
