Are the Monsters Scared of the Vampires?

As we reported earlier this week, the second installment of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” will hit theaters in November 2012 – one year after the first installment.  In the wake of this announcement, it is reported that Disney/Pixar has pushed up the release date of the long-awaited “Monsters, Inc. 2”.  It will now hit theaters on November 2 so as to avoid competing with the final installment of The Twilight Saga.

Nine More “Twilight” Cast Members To Appear At Teen Choice Awards

It had previously reported that Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, and Ashley Greene would be among the celebrities in attendance at this Sunday’s filming of the Teen Choice Awards festivities.  There are now nine more members of the cast on the official list of attendees.  Here are the Twilight cast members confirmed for Sunday night:

Robert Pattinson’s Sons In “Water For Elephants” Get Cast In Tennessee

According to local Chattanooga station WTVC, Robert Pattinson and the crew of “Water for Elephants” (which is set for release April 15, 2011) have wrapped their shooting in the Tennessee town. Fortunately, one Chattanooga family has memories — and hopefully a nice paycheck — that will last a lost longer.

Sonya Gonzales and her sons Mason, 7, and Liam, 5, had a special day last Friday when Mason and Liam got to shoot a scene in the film as the sons of Rob’s character, Jacob. According to Sonya, the casting agents hadn’t realized the two boys were related when they were cast.

Cancer Patient Treated to “Twilight” Themed Bedroom Makeover

Lorraine Uribe is a lot like other 18-year-old girls in her love of Edward Cullen and the magical world of the “Twilight” series.

But while Bella battles ageless vampires and teenage angst, Uribe is battling a rare ovarian cancer from her home in Coachella.

This week, Uribe’s bedroom got revamped, “Twilight”-style, thanks to a La Quinta couple and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

La Quinta residents Arlynn and Paul Feldman have been raising money to grant wishes in the Coachella Valley for three years now. This year, they set a fundraising goal to make enough money to fund wishes for the 11 local children on the waiting list at the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Orange County and the Inland Empire.
