TWILIGHT SAGA NEWS MAY 31ST: CHASKE SPENCER, BREE TANNER & MORE

Native actor sees success with ‘Twilight’ movies

As a child, Chaske Spencer had dreams of becoming a photographer. He never imagined he’d find himself in front of the camera as a successful Native actor with a role in one of the most anticipated movies of summer 2010.

Chaske (pronounced Chess-kay) Spencer is a Sioux, Nez Perce, Cherokee and Creek actor who is originally from Tahlequah, Okla.. He’ll reprise his role as Sam Uley, the lead wolf of the Quileute tribe’s wolf pack, in the “Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” June 30.

Through the whirlwind of fame, traveling, events and shooting for the next movie, Spencer recalls his most memorable moment up to this point.

“Probably when my manager called to tell me I got the role (of Sam Uley,)” Spencer said. “And I couldn’t tell anyone!”

He now resides in Brooklyn, New York, and his work calendar is filling up faster than he can keep up with.

NEW Twilight ‘ Eclipse’ International Trailer Out

Summit Entertainment released this new international trailer and even though there are captions at the bottom of the screen, I hardly noticed it! I only noticed the conflicting love Bella feels for both Edward and Jacob.

I’m really glad Chaske got to be Sam, he fits perfectly into the part. What do you think of this? Did you picture any one else as Sam Uley?

I will get my copy of Bree’s novella, some fans might be a little mad that Stephenie didn’t finish first Midnight Sun but what can we do about that. Still, I think it’s good that she published a new twilight story, we get to see another POV, what were all those secrets Victoria and Riley kept from the newborns, how she came to be, even more fights scenes, since we only got Bella side in Eclipse. What do you think of this? Will you buy it?

The new international trailer…is…well…sort of what we’ve already seen, but yet it’s good for the waiting fans! What do you think?
