KRISTEN STEWART IN PARADE MAGAZINE
Kristen Stewart was recently featured in an article for Parade Magazine in which she talked about her upcoming film “The Runaways” in which she co-stars with fellow Twilight cast member Dakota Fanning. She talks about playing Joan Jett, her opinion of Rob Pattinson in “Remember Me”, and what it’s like to play Bella Swan.
Kristen on Twilight Fans:
“I’ve never been so fanatical about something. I never had that thing that I’m obsessed with. But, I’ve followed things for years like bands and movies and actors. I completely get what they’re feeling. Personally, it’s just so cool for me to be able to go back and follow a character for so long in successive movies. The fact that fans love them helps give me the chance.”
Kristen on Playing Bella Swan:
“You have to live something when you film it. I know from the outside Twilight looks a big commercial movie. But, it was more difficult to play Bella than a lot of other parts I’ve done. And, she’s still developing because I’m not finished yet. It’s more of an exploration of a person’s journey.”

Oh, how I wish that I could bid on that guitar!! As of right now, there are no bids but there is a reserve so it’s not like you can swoop in and get it for nothing.
I appreciate the DVD guide because there are so many variations of the DVD going on sale this weekend. I still want to know who will offer the free iTunes download like last year. I’m crossing my fingers that Target will have that included in their 3-disc set!
I appreciate Kristen’s honesty about how it’s difficult to play Bella. Bella Swan is an interesting study in character and personality – she’s a fragile human with a stubborn, strong spirit. She’s clumsy and thinks of herself as plain and ordinary while people all around her find her to be beautiful. There’s so many internal and external characteristics that Twilight fans obsess over that it’s truly impossible for anyone to live up to the fans’ expectations.
