KELLAN LUTZ AND ASHLEY GREENE IN “WARRIOR”

The film is a Family Pictures LLC Production and is directed by Michael F. Sears. Executive producers are Marc Spizzirri, Martin Dugard, James Yount, and James Patterson. The film, which is getting a DVD or theatrical release, stars Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Gabrielle Anwar, Adam Beach, William Mapother, and Aaron Hill.
Warrior centers around top ranked west coast high school lacrosse player Conor Sullivan (Lutz), whose world is torn apart when he is forced to relocate to a demanding new prep school where the competition is cut-throat and the rivalry is fierce. REVIEW OF ASHLEY GREENE’S “SKATELAND”
from inthisweek.com:It’s 1983 and Skateland is closing. The once-great skating rink has seen a dramatic decline in business, prompting its owner to sell the building. For 19-year-old Ritchie (Shiloh Fernandez), not only does this mean he’s about to be unemployed, he’s also about to lose his safety net.
“Skateland” is the spiritual child of John Hughes’ finest films in the ’80s. Not because it directly steals from a particular Hughes film, but because it captures the spirit perfectly. I spent a large portion of the film geeking out by identifying all the LP covers (yes, we’re talking vinyl), posters and songs and falling in love with Ashley Greene’s Michelle Burkham (who wouldn’t love a beautiful, smart and caring girl with a Depeche Mode and The Cure posters dominating her bedroom walls?).
PREMIERE DATE SET FOR ROBERT PATTINSON’S “REMEMBER ME”
from latimes.com:Robert Pattinson will hit the “Remember Me” red carpet in New York on March 1, Gossip Cop confirms.
The film’s nationwide release date isn’t until March 12, but Pattinson’s work with Uma Thurman and Christina Ricci in “Bel Ami,” which starts filming next month in Paris, has put a crimp in his ability to jump from continent to continent.
ORIGINAL RUNAWAYS TALK ABOUT SEEING KRISTEN STEWART AND DAKOTA FANNING’S PORTRAYAL ON SCREEN
from mtv.com:“It was amazing,” Jett, who played guitar in the band, told MTV News. “It was surreal. The first time I met her, her hair was still long. Then after she finished ‘New Moon,’ she got it cut and I saw her out in L.A. for some rehearsals and it was really incredible. We were both laughing a lot because it’s surreal.”
So surreal, in fact, that Currie admitted she felt as if the entire experience were simply unreal. “It was too much for me to handle, to be honest with you,” she said of seeing Fanning in character. “For the first time, I got to see what it was like to be in an audience and look at the Runaways. It was that right-on. This all is so surreal! I went to sleep, woke up in this amazing dream, and I can’t wake up. I don’t want to wake up. And guess what? I don’t have to!”
PETER FACINELLI COVERS PRESTIGE MAGAZINE
The very dapper-looking patriarch of the Cullen Family appears on the cover of the January issue of Prestige Magazine, which also includes an interview. You can check out more images and scans from the magazine over here.
My, my, my…this cast has been very busy!! The movie with Ashley and Kellan looks like it would be worth checking out. I’m a sucker for movies that center around sports, anyway!
Peter Facinelli’s compassion never ceases to amaze me. How many celebrities would go to a mall in Paducah, Kentucky, of all places to sign autographs? I live about two hours from there and it’s not exactly the kind of place to draw the attention of Hollywood. As we tend to say around here in the South, he’s good people.
I have to say that I’m very interested in checking out Ashley’s movie, “Skateland”. I’m a child of the 80’s and spent a lot of time at the skating rink and watching John Hughes movies. I can’t help but think that I’ll like this movie.
I’ll definitely be checking out the scans of the Prestige magazine with Peter. He looks awesome on that cover and I love watching and reading his interviews.
