PHOTOS OF ROB ON VANCOUVER SET
Check out these pictures of Robert Pattinson on set near Vancouver. He’s bundled up for the cold near a remote cabin with snow all around. “Edward” is the only character seen in these shots and there is some speculation that this cabin is supposed to be in Denali. Perhaps there is going to be a flashback to when he fled after meeting Bella on her first day in school?

BILLY BURKE TALKS “BREAKING DAWN”, BELLA’S WEDDING DRESS, & VAMPIRE BELLA
In an interview with MTV to promote his latest film, “Drive Angry”, Billy Burke briefly talks about filming “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” and a little about the plot of the film. He also gives a little insight into what’s going on with Charlie Swan in the next two installments:
“I go back in about a week to continue my job in that movie,” he said. “Which is being oblivious to everything that’s going on with vampires and werewolves.”
“TWILIGHT” TO MAKE SOME KIND OF APPEARANCE AT OSCARS?
While none of the films nor the cast members are nominated for an Oscar, word is that the Twilight Saga will still make some kind of an appearance at the ceremonies on Sunday night. Robert Pattinson created a huge stir when he was a presenter two years ago, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart served as presenters last year while Anna Kendrick was nominated for Best Supporting Actress. It has yet to be confirmed whether any of the cast members will be in attendance on Sunday night.
SCOOP ON SCENES IN VANCOUVER SHOOT
We know that the honeymoon scenes have been shot and there have been tales that the big showdown with the Volturi has been shot. In case you were wondering what they didn’t shoot in Louisiana, LaineyGossip.com is reporting the following:
As for what they’ll be doing here on the West Coast, I can tell you exclusively that filming includes – in no particular order:
- Bella’s new vampire hunting
- teaching the hybrid child about hunting
- some sh-t in pretend-Alaska
- something about Romanian vampires
- something about a movie theatre and Edward’s flashback
- Bella kicking Jacob’s ass
- Jacob training baby wolves (this all sounds so ridiculous to write, is it as ridiculous to read?)
- Bella practising her mind techniques
- the father-son “baseball” conversation between Carlisle and Edward (click here for a refresher)
- the wedding (yes, the wedding)
- a happy future family scene when the kid is all grown up
- and the final scene of the saga which is, unless they change it in editing, the two lovers in the meadow.
What’s your theory on the pics of Rob in the winter mountain setting? I’m wondering if their onto something with the speculation of this being Denali when Edward fled from Forks. The members of the Denali Coven were among some of the first cast members to arrive in Vancouver.
As always, I love to see Billy Burke’s interviews. Anyone else pick up on the annoyance of the interviewer asking him about something other than the movie for which he’s doing the press junket?
Oscars…my guess is that there will be some sort of parody featuring James Franco and Anne Hathaway. There was enough press coverage about how James Franco wanted to have a role in “Breaking Dawn”, so it just makes sense. I am crossing my fingers for Rob to show up as a presenter, though!
With what Lainey reports and the reports of the grown-up Renesmee coming out earlier this week, it looks pretty solid that there is some kind of flash-forward of Nessie. How it will appear in the film is still anyone’s guess. I’m wondering if it will be an Alice vision. She also makes note of something in “pretend Alaska” and we just saw the pics of Rob in the snowy mountain setting.

The cabin they’re using for the “pretend Alaska” I believe is the Slocan Lake Lookout. if you look at the pics from the balcony, the mountains look the same as in the pic with rob.
