‘DEMONS’ INVADE BBC AMERICA

Our friends at BBC America just let us know that, on January 2, 2010, they’ll be bringing a new kind of vampire show to the small screen.  Demons is a return to classic, monstrous vampires (as opposed to the current trend of romantic vamps).  Christian Cooke (Doctor Who) plays Luke, a teenager whose life is interrupted by the arrival of an old family friend, Rupert (played by Philip Glenister, Life on Mars).

‘TRUE BLOOD’ BARFLY BECOMES A REGULAR

Eric’s sidekick Pam on “True Blood” is getting a promotion.

Kristin Bauer, who plays blonde vampire Pam, Eric’s (Alexander Skarsgard) wingwoman at vampire bar Fangtasia, has been promoted to a regular on the HBO series.

Bauer had guest starred on Alan Ball’s vampire drama for the first two seasons, appearing in a total of 11 episodes.

‘Demons’ sounds like it will bring some ghoulish fun to television, I will surely set my tivo for this series. Will you be watching ‘Demons’?

There were a lot of fans chatting up a storm on the internets, wishing they could see more ‘Pam’ in True Blood and now they have gotten their wish. She plays the perfect counterpart to Eric and her promotion to full cast member is exciting news. Now all the series needs to do is comeback quickly!
