Trouble on Reserve is a short story about Trent and Rachel working together.  It currently is available exclusively on the Sony reader app for Iphone, Ipad, and Ipod touch, but Kim has future plans for it later on, which I can only assume will have something to do with an anthology and I hope to see her expand the story a little bit as well.  After you take away the cover, title, copyright, and acknowledgment pages the story itself is only 14 pages long!

Our favorite little ‘cookie maker’, Trent, has hired Rachel to be his security at a fundraiser while Quen is out of town.  But afterwards he has some shady dealings to tend to that lead them to go on the run from a pair of assassins.  Trent and Rachel must work together to get out of this mess alive!

This story is really short, as I’ve already mentioned so you don’t get a lot going on it, but what is there I did enjoy.  Again, I love seeing Trent and Rachel’s ‘relationship’ grow even if she’s constantly saying she can’t be with him while imaging herself with him in compromising positions!  We all know it’s only a matter of time before she gives in.  And, this story is just a little taste of what we can expect in the future!
