Tiger’s Eye picks up where the previous book, Bloodstone, left off with Stacy getting the phone call that informed her that her father’s death wasn’t an accident, he was murdered.  And, being the reporter she is, not to mention being the Seeker of Justice, she won’t give up until she finds out the truth or dies trying!

Meanwhile, in a moment of fear at not being able to find Thor, Stacy casts a spell that sends all lost dogs her way, even those that have passed on!  So when she finally finds her beloved Great Dane she isn’t sure if the Collie with him is from her spell or not?  But she takes her with them, planning to hunt down her owner.

Then, there is that white tiger Stacy keeps seeing.  Why does it keep appearing?  Is it a warning that her life is in danger or something else entirely?

I was so happy to see that Stacy appears to have gotten her love life figured out!  And, I was thrilled that she chose Chance!  Don’t get me wrong, I like Leo, but I absolutely adore Chance!  And, I totally figured out what he was trying to do toward the end of the book and was a little sad that she shut him down.  But hopefully down the line….

Tiger’s Eye also featured more of Cinnamon!  Yay!  I absolutely loved the scene where they were taking pregnancy tests together, for moral support,  and the scare that Cin gave Stacy!

“The timer dinged a few minutes later and Cinnamon sucked in her breath.

“You want me to check?” I asked.

“I’ll do it.”

I stood up and followed her into the bathroom.

Cinnamon gasped and said, “They’re both positive!”

“What?” I grabbed the sticks from her hand and read them. I glared at her.

She chuckled. “You should have seen your face.”

I also loved Chance’s reaction!  Did I mention I love him?

As for the murder mystery?  I did NOT figure out who the culprit was, and I was really surprised with one of the people involved!  All the little things going on in the story tie in nicely at the end, making you understand why they were there to begin with.

I think the ending of this book really did it for me.  Don’t get me wrong, I liked the entire book; I just liked the ending more.  It left me sitting here smiling like an idiot, with all those warm and fuzzy feelings floating around!

This book was sweet and anybody who likes a light fun mystery with a pinch of paranormal nuances will be sure to enjoy!
