Shimmer and Glow are short stories that Darynda Jones released on her facebook page  for all of her fans!  I love when authors give us little tastes like this!  In this instance Shimmer and Glow are actually the same story, but from different points of view.  Shimmer is from Charley’s perspective and we get the same fun carefree narration that we’re used to.  Glow is from Reyes’s point of view and we get the same story, but with a little more insight into him and the way his mind works.  We also get a little reminiscing over Charley and how she affects him!

This is a cute little scene about Charley and Reyes at Christmas, cuddled up by the fire.  Charley is up to her usual tricks with her latest scheme to get all her answers from Reyes about his past.  And, of course the mention of Christmas presents!

This was a great gift for us fans as we desperately wait for the release of Sixth Grave on the Edge!  I loved seeing the usual teasing between this couple, not to mention the steaminess!  I absolutely loved it and it had me grinning like an idiot the whole time I was reading it!

Now… if we could only get an answer to Reyes’s big question!!
