Review:

What an absolutely wonderful romp! Well written, super fun, with characters that are likeable, loveable and despicable.

Kat was a strong, smart , sensible and beautiful heroine. I completely enjoyed her and how bright and skillful she was. We need more heroines with her attitude.

Duncan was a man of the times, but turned out to be more than what was expected. He was very patient, which in the end worked to his advantage.

The siblings of these two, were both engagingly loveable, caring and interesting.  Hope they get their own books and that we will see how Kat and Duncan are doing. If they have a boy or girl????

Villains (don’t want to completely spoil it) while there was a slight feeling of something was off, at the end it was surprising how twisted the individual was and lengths to which they went too.

The pacing was very well done, great dialog for all the characters.  This is an excellent addition to the Historical Romance genre. I highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys this genre. I am looking forward to the next book in this series and this author will be on my auto buy list from now on.
