Sadly CW decided to make ‘Vampire Diaries’ into a TV-series and not ‘Secret Circle’ – also a book series by L.J. Smith. Perhaps because there are no vampires in?
Anyway – I enjoyed reading ‘Secret Circle’ – a story about witches – more than ‘Vampire Diaries’.
I love the twists, the romance, the horror … everything! That’s why I decided to cast the coven.

Shy, sixteen-year-old Cassie falls in love with the mysterious Adam before moving to New Salem, thinking she’ll never see him again. But as it turns out, Adam is there, too, at a high school where a strange elite rule. And here are my ideas for casting ‘Secret Circle’:

Cassie (Cassandra) Blake, the blue eyed main-actress with light brown hair. First she don’t know that she is a witch but later she becomes very important.
I’d love to see Emily VanCamp playing her.


Adam Conant, the blue-gray eyed boy who is in love with Cassie but don’t want to.
And he has auburn hair just like Gregory Smith.


Diana Meade, the most gorgeous fairylike girl with green eyes and blonde hair.
Thora Birch seems to me like perfect to become Cassies best friend.


Faye Chamberlain, the ‘bad’ girl with golden eyes and black hair.
While reading I always pictured Krysten Ritter being her.


Nick Armstrong, my favorite male-character in the book. He has brown eyes and hair and I think Jared Padalecki would be a good choice for playing him.


Chris and Doug Henderson, the twins, could be played by Kevin and Joe Jonas


and acting as their little sister Kori Henderson I want to see Emily Osment


And here are my thoughts about the ‘minor’ members of the coven:
Sean Dulany played by Scott Porter


I imagine Deborah Armstrong like Missy Peregrym


Melanie Glaser could be like Jessica Stroup


Laurel Quincey would be great if Vanessa Lengies will play her


Suzan Whittier played by Amanda Bynes


Last but not least – the bad boy: Black John.
I guess Bill Nighy is so well known playing the dark parts that he also could do this evil, strange powerful one very good.
