Chapter 16 Paris

Summary:
In this chapter Bella is lost in her own head, struggling to grasp what has just happened. Once she realizes that she is okay and not dying, she realizes she can hear Jacob and Sam’s voice. Jake tells her that Harry Clearwater is in the hospital because of a heart attack.
Jacob then brings Bella to his house. Both are so exhausted, Jake from saving Bella, and Bella from fighting the current of the water. They end up falling asleep, but awaken when Billy comes into the house with a glum look on his face. Jacob doesn’t even have to ask his dad, he just knows Harry has passed away. Jake decides it’s time to take Bella home.

What do you think about Bella comparing Jacob’s snoring to a lullaby?
Was Jacob being too harsh when he said to Bella “ I really hope you don’t die!” ? Or was he just hurt that Bella was picking a Vampire over him?
