fantasybookreview.co.uk has info on a Neil Gaiman silent film:
Bill Nighy will star in one of a series of short silent films to be broadcast on Sky1 over Christmas.
The Love Actually actor will star in Statuesque, which tells the story of a love triangle between two living statues and an admirer who observes his object of affection every day among the Christmas shoppers – but is unaware that he too is being watched.
The short film was written by Neil Gaiman, who worked on Coraline and Stardust.
Also in the 12-film series are Dog Alone, That Syncing Feeling and a film with the working title Three Kings.
Elaine Pyke, head of drama at Sky1, said: “We’re thrilled to have such a wealth of talent collaborating on these 12 unique films that are shaping up to be beautiful and uplifting.
Sounds bleeping cool! I am excited to see it. Does it sound like a film that would interest you? Why? Do you like Neil Gaiman’s work?
