DEBUNKED CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER TEASER POSTER REVEALED?

The site that gave us the first description & confirmation for Captain America’s costume, Joblo, has ran a story claiming to have been sent the teaser poster for Captain America: The First Avenger movie.

Joblo includes that This was (there) first communique from (an) untested spy, and while the names of villain Toby Jones and female lead Hayley Atwell are curiously absent, otherwise the image appears legit. Which means this promotional poster (or a version of it) will be adorning walls, kiosks and buildings at the Cinema Expo in Amsterdam later this month.

JOHN CARPENTER TO DIRECT FANGLAND

After a nine year hiatus, John Carpenter signs up to direct the modern vampire movie Fangland…

After the critical and financial failure of 2001’s Ghosts Of Mars, legendary director John Carpenter has kept a comparatively low profile, only resurfacing briefly to direct two episodes of the Masters Of Horror television series.

In recent months, however, Carpenter has begun to sign up to direct several new features: horror flick L.A. Gothic, supernatural thriller The Ward, due out this September in the US, and gangster epic The Prince. And according to Total Film, Carpenter’s added a fourth picture to the list, an adaptation of Fangland, a 2008 novel by John Marks.
