Could Kitty Pryde soon be using curse words no mutant has ever used before? (Well, except for Wolverine—we’re sure he’s said it all.) Now that Kick-Ass screenwriter Jane Goldman has signed on to provide the script for X-Men: First Class—who knows?

Goldman joins Kick-Ass director Matthew Vaughn, who climbed on board last week to direct the X-Men prequel movieX-Men: First Class.

Will confirmed for ‘MIB 3D’

The studio behind Men In Black 3D has announced a release date for the sci-fi blockbuster.

According to Deadline.com Columbia Pictures has slated Men In Black 3D for a May 25, 2012 premiere. Will Smith has been secured to star in the film as agent , but Tommy Lee Jones is still in contract negotiations to reprise the role of Agent K.

The film would also incorporate time travel in the plot. James Brolin is in talks to play a young Agent K from 1969.

Official Trailer and Teaser Poster for J.J. Abrams’ Sci-Fi ‘Super 8’ Released

Few days after the trailer for “Super 8” was leaked, Paramount Pictures has debuted the official version of the trailer. Making its way out via Apple, the video gives preview of some scenes from the film in a good quality.

Opened with a scene of a rushing train, the video then features a huge explosion when a truck hits the train. Toward the end of the trailer, something is seen bumping inside a cargo which has U.S. Air Force logo on the door. The footage is then concluded with a look of 8mm camera lens.

Along with the release of the official trailer, Paramount has also dropped a teaser poster for the movie. Choosing to highlight the title, the one-sheet only features the lens of 8mm camera without presenting any character from the film.

How’d they do that? Star’s Prince of Persia acrobatics

The Prince of Persia video-game series distinguished itself with the superhuman gymnastics of its hero, who ran along walls and jumped over buildings like a Middle Eastern Super Mario.

To translate those digital acrobatics into a live-action movie, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, the filmmakers trained star Jake Gyllenhaal in parkour, the French-originated art of free running, previously seen in such films as Casino Royale and District 13.
