I heard “Luc Besson” (who wrote and directed The Fifth Element) and thought, “oh, this should be good. After all The Fifth Element is my favorite movie. Then I read “Steampunk” and got really excited. And now that I’ve seen the preview I HAVE TO SEE THIS!! Steampunk + Egyptology + Dinosaurs? I’m pretty sure this movie was made for me. (And for the record, I know that pterodactyls are not actually dinosaurs. They’re also not birds, but that’s what they kept calling it). It looks like it will have it’s campy moments, but they’re obviously intentional (the same is true with The Fifth Element). I have no idea if this will come out in US theaters, but I’m going to hope.
