I love Stephanie Perkins and her awesome writing style! Since Isla and the Happily Ever After is coming out soon, here are some covers in honor of it!
About Lola and the Boy Next Door:
For budding costume designer Lola Nolan, the more outrageous, the outfit—more sparkly, more fun, more wild—the better. But even though Lola’s style is outrageous, she’s a devoted daughter and friend with some big plans for the future. And everything is pretty perfect (right down to her hot rocker boyfriend) until the dreaded Bell twins move back into the house next door.
When the family returns and Cricket—a gifted inventor and engineer—steps out from his twin sister’s shadow and back into Lola’s life, she must finally reconcile a lifetime of feelings for the boy next door. (Goodreads)
Hello purple hair! Hello Cricket! Hello Lola! I really love this cover, how Lola’s looking straight at the reader and Cricket’s looking at her while closing his eyes.
Cute. I like this cover too. The background is super gorgeous and the bridge was a perfect idea.
This cover conveys simplicity due to the lack of faces. I love how the houses seem so small in comparison to the hands. Perhaps their love is too great for the world? JK!
Lola looks really pretty! And I love the bridge, although in real life I can’t imagine any couple in that position.
Oooohhhh this cover is super cute! I love the shadows and the dress and the cute atmosphere of it all.
