From Small Dole to the States, The Limehouse Lamp Company is producing lights for a new ‘Harry Potter’ ride at Universal Studios in Florida.
The company, which is based at Mackley’s Industrial Estate, will ship out 100 mainly oil lamp-style replicas for the ride at the Orlando-based theme park next week.

Managing director Elliott Maurice said the lamps are similar to those seen at Hogwarts.
The studio wanted authenticity as the look and feel of its rides was paramount to what they were trying to achieve, he added.

The ride is currently being built and will form part of a new Harry potter themed environment called ‘The Wizarding World of Harry Potter’. It is due to be unveiled next year.
