Review:

Have you ever wondered how animals take a bath? Do they wash with water, soap, and shampoo? Well, this cute illustrated book teaches children the different ways animals take a bath. Unlike humans, cats take a bath by licking their fur with their little pink tongues. Polar bears scrub with snow and elephants use their trunks to shower themselves.

In my opinion, the way pigs and chickens take baths are the most interesting! It’s a mud and dust bath, but it definitely leaves them feeling clean. Some other animals need the help of another animal to get clean, such as turtles, monkeys and hippos. Throughout the book different illustrations show children and parents how a variety of animals clean themselves and how it is different from how humans take a bath.

The illustrations look amazing and cute enough to catch the kids attention while reading to them. Not to mention that it even demonstrates how kids should take their own baths. How Do You Take a Bath? is a fun book for a bedtime story or to read at anytime of day. It helps kids learn more about animals and their natural habitats. Definitely a must-read book!
