Open Book Society wants to congratulate the actor Robbie Coltrane to his birthday!

Anthony Robert McMillan (OBE) was born March 30th, 1950 in Rutherglen, South Lanarkshire, UK. He is known both for his role as Dr Eddie “Fitz” Fitzgerald in the British TV series ‘Cracker’ and as Rubeus Hagrid in the ‘Harry Potter’ films. Coltrane has also presented a number of popular documentary programmes for the British ITV network based around his twin passions for travel and transportation.
