Minerva McGonagall was born October 4, 1925. The Deputy Headmistress and head of the Gryffindor house is a fictional character in J. K. Rowlings ‘Harry Potter’ series. Professor McGonagall is also the Transfiguration teacher and a registered Animagus who takes the shape of a tabby cat.
