Open Book Society wants to congratulate the actor Laurence Fishburne to his birthday!

Laurence John Fishburne III was born July 30, 1961 in Augusta, Georgia. He is best known for his roles as Morpheus in the ‘Matrix’ trilogy and as Ike Turner in ‘What’s Love Got to Do With It’. Laurence Fishburne became the first African American to portray Othello in Kenneth Branagh’s motion picture 1995. Currently he stars as Dr. Raymond Langston in ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’.
