Open Book Society wants to congratulate the actress and novelist Julie Walters to her birthday!

Julia Mary Walters, CBE, was born February 22nd, 1950 in Smethwick, UK. We all know her playing Molly Weasley in the ‘Harry Potter’ movies. But she did a lot of more, like ‘med Mack the Knife’, ‘The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole’, ‘Oliver Twist’, ‘Billy Elliot’, ‘Becoming Jane’ or ‘Mamma Mia’. She has won numerous acting awards, and was appointed OBE in 1999 and raised to Commander level (CBE) in the 2008 New Year Honours for her services to drama.
