Open Book Society wants to congratulate the actor Gil Birmingham to his birthday!

Gil Birmingham was born July 13, 1966 in San Antonio, Texas. He is an actor of Comanche ancestry and made his first TV appearance on an episode of ‘Riptide’. Since than he appeared in more than 40 films, television and theater productions. Most recently, Gil Birmingham generated public acclaim for his portrayal as Billy Black in Stephenie Meyers ‘Twilight’ saga. He is also a musician who has traveled across the country, singing and playing guitar with various bands.
