Social Networks are every where nowadays. With Twitter being one of the newer sites. People from all over Tweet, with Authors being no exemption. Our favorite authors have joined in on the fun. Talking about their books or simply just letting us know what they’re up to. OBS has decided to make it easy on you and list some awesome authors Twitters.

Mitali Perkins

Born in Kolkata, India, and immigrated to the States when she was seven years old. She’s written several books for young readers, including BAMBOO PEOPLE, RICKSHAW GIRL, MONSOON SUMMER, and SECRET KEEPER.

Joe Nassise

The author of several novels, including the internationally bestselling Templar Chronicles trilogy (HERETIC, A SCREAM OF ANGELS, A TEAR IN THE SKY) , as well as a fiction collection (SPECTRES AND DARKNESS) and assorted short stories found in such works as MASQUES V, CHTHULIAN SINGULARITY, and LOST ON THE DARKSIDE. Also a former president of the Horror Writers Association, the world’s largest organization of professional horror writers, a two time Bram Stoker Award and International Horror Guild Award nominee.

William Shunn

Is a science fiction writer and computer programmer. He was raised in a Latter-day Saint household, the oldest of eight children.

Kate Messner

Is an author and National Board Certified middle school English teacher. Her books for kids include THE BRILLIANT FALL OF GIANNA Z (Walker/Bloomsbury, 2009),SUGAR ON SNOW (Walker/Bloomsbury Dec. 2010) MARTY MCGUIRE, FROG PRINCESS (Scholastic Press, February 2011), SEAMONSTER’S FIRST DAY (Chronicle, Summer 2011) and OVER AND UNDER THE SNOW (Chronicle, Fall 2011). Kate also wrote SPITFIRE and CHAMPLAIN AND THE SILENT ONE, both Lake Champlain historical novels published by North Country Books.

Ben Templesmith

Is an Australian comic book artist best known for his work in the American comic book industry – most notably Fell with writer Warren Ellis, published by Image Comics, where he helped pioneer a new format for commercial comics, and 30 Days of Night with writer Steve Niles published by IDW Publishing which has since been turned into a major motion picture of the same name.
