Extreme Harry Potter Wedding

Your wedding day is arguably the most magical day in your life, and Harry Potter fans Craig Fisk-Millband and Laura Younger made sure their union was especially enchanted by transforming the venue into Hogwarts.

The British couple, who are both obsessed with J.K. Rowling’s fantasy book series, asked guests to dress up as students from Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin, the four houses at Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and played spooky music from the film soundtracks during the ceremony on Thursday….

The couple, who have been together for seven years, say they have met the majority of the cast members from the Harry Potter movies and even named their six-year-old daughter Chanel Hermione, after the lead female character.

Wow that’s taking obsession to a whole new level!!  My twelve year old daughter would think it was the most awesome wedding ever, but I would think it would make what is supposed to be the most important day of your life nothing more than an extravagant costume party.  And if it was a ploy for media attention they definitely got it and even got the bonus of meeting most of the cast of the movies. But I guess as long as the couple in question is happy, then nothing else truly matters.  I can’t help, but wonder if they’ll regret it later on.  Of course if they named their daughter after the book, regrets are doubtful.

And what’s up with the couple wearing Slytherin colors?
