I give this 5 stars because I literally did not want to put this down. What an amazing read, full of action, twists and turns. Laurie has quite a good lists of characters and I just loved them all.
Abby Cooper is a psychic and her skills are often used in the capacity of official duty, to help the FBI when they have no leads. So when there are bombings going on all over town and no one knows why much less where the next one is going to happen, Abby is called in.
Abby and Dutch are to be married soon and this needs to be solved before the wedding day because Abby feels Dutch is in danger and she feels that it’s because of her. The problem is that Abby can forecast the future for others but not for herself.
What is the link between the young girls blowing themselves up? This is the question that investigators are asking themselves and have them scratching their heads. None of the clues are adding up. Abby was told by the spirit guides to stay out of it but when it comes to Dutch and the feeling of doom that washes over her when he is near, all thoughts of staying out of it are thrown to the wayside.
Dutch’s boss has asked Abby to help in the investigation and she has said no until now. With the investigation in full swing and Abby in the thick of things, the last thing on her mind is her wedding. The vibes are everywhere but with her personal involvement all the signs are being read wrong. So when Abby has gone missing on the day of her wedding, the clock is ticking and time is just not on their side.
The pieces of the puzzle are starting to fit into place but is it too late to save Abby and Dutch? When seconds matter there is no one better to have on your side then those who love you and who will die for you.
Just when you think you know whats going to happen, it flips on you. It’s starting to look like there is going to be a funeral instead of a wedding.
I thought this was a really great book and am looking forward to reading more of The Psychic Eye Mysteries. I just really can’t say enough good things about this book.
