Enzo Moretti is a bit of a playboy.  However, he now must find a wife and settle down or he will lose his shot of running the family business.  A company he has worked for since he was fourteen years old.  He’s not sure where to turn when his new girlfriend turns down his proposal.

Then a savior comes to him from a most unexpected place.  Bianca DeRossi.  The two of them have fought since they were kids.  However, she is willing to enter into a marriage contract with Enzo.  In fact, it was her idea!  She’ll marry him long enough for him to get the company and long enough for her to get pregnant!  Then, they will plan a break-up that doesn’t leave either of them looking like the bad guy.

However, things don’t go quite as planned.  And, when they end up trying for the natural form of conception instead of the planned method at the fertility clinic they both get more than they bargained for!

This is probably my favorite book in the series so far.  I enjoyed both Enzo and Bianca.

For someone everyone thought was all ego and sex, Enzo was actually pretty sweet.  Always bringing Bianca flowers and doing little things to make her happy and smile.  But it was always fun seeing these two bicker too! In the words of Enzo, It’s witchcraft!

“So are you saying you’d turn him away if he knocked on your door tonight?”

“He’s not going to knock on my door.” But at the thought of it, my entire body warmed.

“But if he did,” she pushed. “What would you do?”

“Hmmm. Is he wearing clothes?”

“Let’s say he’s shirtless.”

“Damn. Is his hair doing that thing in the front?”

“Definitely. And he smells good. Like, really good.”

“Ugh, that’s so annoying.” I sighed. “Ideally, I like to think I’d be strong enough to be the first female in his life to resist him.” Turning around, I faced her. “Realistically, though, I’d probably think about it for two seconds, then jump his bones.”

She cackled with glee. “I knew it.”

And, I actually enjoyed Bianca as well.  So many female leads in this genre can be whinny and obnoxious, but that wasn’t the case with her.

This story did bring to light the struggles those with fertility problems face and the complete heartache they endure each month their efforts fail.  You couldn’t help but feel for Bianca (and Enzo too)!

My only complaint with Bianca, was how she ended things, without even trying.  The girls acted like Enzo was horrible, but I have to side with him on this one.  He’s not a mind reader as he made perfectly clear when they were writing up their contract!

Of course we got to see our usual friends from Bellamy Creek, the couples from the other books.  And, I’m guessing Beckett and his childhood crush, Maddie will be featured in the next book!  I love a good second chance romance, so I can’t wait!

This was an enjoyable read that any romance lover can enjoy!
