J.K. Rowling teases with news of THREE more Harry Potter novels

Back in April, J.K. Rowling hinted that she might write another Harry Potter novel, “maybe 10 years from now.” But Friday on The Oprah Winfrey Show, the news got even better—Rowling says she has enough material in mind for not just one more book about the boy wizard, but THREE.

“I could definitely write an eighth, ninth, tenth,” the writer told Winfrey. “I’m not going to say I won’t. I don’t think I will … I feel I am done, but you never know.”

Next Up for 3-D Upgrade: Vintage Sci-Fi Novels

It’s not just movies like The Phantom Menace and Titanic that will be getting a 3-D upgrade in the near future. Five classic sci-fi novels will be reissued with 3-D covers next year.

Vintage Classics will publish the books — Planet of the Apes by Pierre Boulle, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea and Journey to the Centre of the Earth by Jules Verne, The Lost World by Arthur Conan Doyle and The Call of Cthulhu and Other Weird Tales by H.P. Lovecraft — in April 2011, the company said in a press release Monday.
