Summary:

YOU’VE GOT TO HAVE FAYTHE…

The unscrupulous new Council chair has charged Jace, Marc, and me with
trespassing, kidnapping, murder, and treason. Yeah, we’ve been busy.
But now it’s time to take justice into our own hands. We must avenge
my brother’s death and carve out the rot at the heart of the Council.

It’s not going to be easy, and loss seems unavoidable, but I have
promised to protect my Pride, no matter what. With a target on my back
and Marc at my side, I’m heading for a final showdown that can—that
will—change everything forever.

Review:

WOW!!!!! what a book! This is the 6th and final book in Rachel Vincent’s Werecat series. When I began reading it I was sad because I hated the idea that this series is over. I decided that I would read the book slow and savor………did not happen! I was hooked on page 1 and unable to put it down until the last line was read. This book contained all the elements I love in a story!

Faythe is in the middle of a war personally and professionally.  She is still trying to choose between Marc and
Jase and the tension is so thick, you can cut it with a knife. Her pack is in the middle of the fight of it’s life!
The action is amazing, and has you on the edge of your seat. There are some characters that return and some we finally meet
out side of someone talking about them. I feel that the book had all its loose ends tied and it was worth the rollercoaster of emotions I had when reading it.

Rachel Vincent, truly, will have you biting your nails, cheering and crying all at the same time.
There is so much that happens in this book I am not doing it justice, but this is just one of those books you read and it carries
you away.
If you have not read this series you are missing out!!
