A Tale of Two Cities

Ah, classics. Ah, A Tale of Two Cities. Ah….

Yup, I’m taking covers to a new level, the CLASSIC level.

United States

I like covers to have a focus. Unfortunately this certain version is clearly unfocused. (Haha, I like that oxymoron that I’ve got going on).

Arabic

Whoa… this looks like a VCR case. (Remember back when there were VCRs?)

I think it’s very cute and not at all able to portray the sorrow and tragedy in A Tale of Two Cities.

Spanish

This is a very well done cover with a slightly morbid focus, but that’s okay. It’s like a brilliant painting with an odd subject, engrossing and a little terrifying.

Italian

The cover makes sense, but it’s not unique or brilliant in any particular way.

Portuguese

I like the dichotomy of color. Not really picturesque, but altogether a passable cover.

Finnish

This brings me to think of Gulliver’s Travels, but that’s okay. It’s a cute cover for a sad book. No problem whatsoever.  *Slightly sarcastic waves*

A_TALE_OF_TWO_CITIES_FINNISH COVER

These covers were kind of disappointing. What do you think?
