TAYLOR LAUTNER, JACOB AND BELLA WIN AT NICKELODEON KIDS’ CHOICE AWARDS
Taylor Lautner took home two blimps last night at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. He won the award for Favorite Movie Actor and in the category Favorite Cutest Couple for his role as Jacob Black, playing opposite Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan. “New Moon” lost out to “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel” in the Favorite Movie category. TWILIGHT FANS ARE SOME TALENTED PEOPLE!
If you’ve ever visited Etsy, Cafe Press, or the countless other sites where people can hock their wares, you’ll know that there are some seriously talented and creative Twilight fans out there. I ran across this cake made by a fan for her friend’s birthday. It had actually been a retweet on Summit’s official Twilight Twitter account. From the looks of things, she’s definitely Team Jacob.
ECLIPSE TRAILER SPOOF – BELLA’S NEW LOVE INTEREST?
While looking for Twilight news this morning, I decided to check what’s been happening on “Eclipse” director David Slade’s Twitter account. He posted the link to this spoof from the recently released trailer for “Eclipse”. I’m sure that there will be many more to come in the months leading up to the movie’s release. Enjoy!
I don’t really have much to say about the Kids’ Choice Awards, but I do admit being a bit surprised by “New Moon” losing out to Alvin, Simon, and Theodore. Maybe the lack of a certain vampire in “New Moon” and Bella’s chronic depression had something to do with that?
The Jacob cake is pretty cool looking. I’m always impressed by anyone who can do cake decorating since I am seriously lacking in that skill. The only thing that bugs me about it is the Jacob figure looking at the image of himself on the cake. Maybe he’s supposed to be reflecting on what he’s become and how he doesn’t have to be a monster. LOL!
What do you think of the “Eclipse” spoof? I think that my favorite part is when the other guy is lying in bed next to Bella mimicking what Edward says to her with the scowl on his face. I can’t wait to see other spoofs as they come out – I love them!
