Now you know what to turn to when you finally manage to snag a date with Robert Pattinson and want to cook for him (and slip a roofie into his food.)

SEE BILLY BURKE IN NEW TRAILER FOR “REMOVAL”

CHRIS WEITZ SAYS HE VOTED FOR HIS “HOMIE” ANNA KENDRICK FOR OSCAR
In an interview with People Magazine, Chris Weitz admits that he voted for Anna Kendrick for Best Supporting Actress, “because she’s my homie.” He also comments on how “New Moon” could have more nominations if the Academy had a different composition of voting members. He tells People, “If only the Academy were composed of teenage girls, I might be looking at a Best Picture nom,” he joked. “It’s a scandal that there are not more teenage girls in the Academy.”
DAVID SLADE TO TACKLE “THE SHADOW” NEXT
from examiner.com:
According to Collider, Slade might be scheduled to helm the project thanks to the “handing off the director’s chair” of the movie by Sam Raimi.
“Previously set up at Sony Pictures, the reboot will go back to the comic book and radio serial roots of the character,” reports Dark Horizons.
According to the Latino Review, “‘The Shadow’ debuted in 1931 on a CBS radio show which aimed to boost the magazine circulation of sponsor Street & Smith.
KRISTEN STEWART AND DAKOTA FANNING IN FINAL PROMO POSTER FOR “THE RUNAWAYS”
With the film debuting in theaters in select cities on March 19 (everywhere on April 9), the promotional push for Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning’s “The Runaways” is gaining momentum. While we’ve seen this image multiple times, this is the first time it’s been shown as a promotional poster for the movie.

CHRIS WEITZ ON “BREAKING DAWN”
In a recent interview with mtv.com, Chris Weitz shares his thoughts on whether the film should be done in 3-D, whether it should be two films or just one, and if he will return to direct the final installment(s) of the series.
Chris Weitz on Breaking Dawn in 3-D:
“I think that 3-D is great so long as it’s not used in a gimmicky fashion and it can supply extraordinary depth to the visual experience.”
One Film or Two?
“I think that it makes sense for it to be split into two parts, because it’s quite a dense book with a lot going on.”
Will he return to directing the Saga?
“But I think I’m on record saying I have a 2-and-a-half-year-old son, and each one of these movies — especially because it’d be such a long shoot as ‘Breaking Dawn’ — it kind of brings me to the edge of my physical and mental endurance. And I just don’t believe I have it in me, and I think that it’s appropriate that someone else go ahead and do it.”

ROBERT PATTINSON TALKS “REMEMBER ME” IN NEW PODCAST
from theimproper.com:
“Remember Me” could be considered Robert Pattinson’s first big outing — not playing a vampire — and the studio, Summit Entertainment, conducts an exclusive podcast with Rob about the film.
So what does Rob really think about the film? In various interviews during a whirlwind promotional tour in New York, Rob said he felt it was a movie that had to be made.
Now in exclusive podcasts, he talks in-depth about the film, its characters, including Emilie de Ravin, and the making of “Remember Me.”

ARE STEPHENIE MEYER’S “TWILIGHT” BOOKS LOSING A BIT OF THEIR HOLD?
from csmonitor.com:
We’ve all gotten so used to seeing them there that it’s a shock to have them disappear. But for the first time in more than two years, none of the books in Stephenie Meyer’s “Twilight” series is ranked in the Top 20 of USA Today’s bestseller list. “Is that old vampire magic beginning to lose its spell?” the paper asks. “Maybe just a bit.”
So far, however, none of the books has slipped too far. “Eclipse” is at No. 23 (down from No. 13 last week), while “Breaking Dawn” is at No. 24 (it was at No. 14 last week), and “New Moon” is at No. 31 (down from No. 20). “Twilight,” the first book in the series, slipped from No. 27 to No. 44.
It could be that readers are restless for something more. Actor Kellan Lutz, who plays the character Emmett in the “Twilight” series movies, called on Meyer this week to write a new book. As “Twilight” fans know only too well, Meyer did begin a fifth book in the series, titled “Midnight Sun.” But she ceased writing when the manuscript was illegally leaked and posted online. She reported in her blog that, after the leak, “I feel too sad about what has happened to continue working on Midnight Sun, and so it is on hold indefinitely.”
I have to admit…I will probably get The Twilight Cookbook. I love to cook and I love Twilight and $10 is a reasonable price for a gimmicky cookbook.
I love Chris Weitz’s sense of humor about the Academy and their uppity attitude about films (OK, so I editorialized a little bit). I do agree that a lot of good films get overlooked because they’re not artsy-fartsy enough for the Academy. I hate that he won’t be returning for “Breaking Dawn”, but I completely respect and admire his reasons for it.
I don’t think that the on-demand enticement will be enough for me to get the movie from Amazon. I want the 3-disc set from Target anyway.
I am really looking forward to “Remember Me” opening on Friday. I love how he feels about this movie and the story that it tells. The fact that the “Eclipse” trailer will show just before it just makes it all the more exciting!
I find it funny that people are relishing in Stephenie Meyer’s books dropping in the charts. Hello….they’ve consistently been in the top 25 for YEARS. Haven’t these people ever heard of market saturation? It’s going to happen and it doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with people losing interest in the story or the genre. I’d venture to guess that she’ll remain in the top 100 for several years to come. When/if she completes “Midnight Sun”, it would be safe to say that we’d see a huge surge in the popularity of the first four books once again.

KRISTEN STEWART HOPES “ECLIPSE” PROPOSAL SCENE TURNED OUT WELL
Kristen Stewart recently shared her thoughts on the proposal scene from “Eclipse” with MTV.com, telling them that she hopes that it turned out well. I have to admit that this is the scene that I am most anxious to see in the movie. The next two being the tent scene and the newborn battle. Here are Kristen’s comments to MTV.com:
“Well, to decide you’re gonna marry someone at 18 is a pretty hefty decision,” she told MTV News from the red carpet of the premiere of her new movie, “The Yellow Handkerchief.” “And I didn’t want to look stupid. I didn’t want it to look like kids getting married. You know what I mean?”
Stewart said she had to find an emotional space that allowed her to make a teenage engagement seem plausible. “I wanted to be, like, ‘Oh! Wow! I would say yes too!’ You know what I mean? So I don’t know how you do that. You try to do it for real, and it felt good. I hope it turned out alright.”
“BREAKING DAWN” MAY STILL BE ONE FILM
from fandango.com:Only a few days after Deadline Hollywood reported that it was a done deal and Summit Entertainment would be filming The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn in two parts comes word that none of the main actors (Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner) have signed on to a fifth film, and the studio is not yet ready to make a decision on whether or not they’ll be splitting up the final installment in the Twilight franchise.
One of the reasons why the studio isn’t ready is because they still haven’t made deals with Stewart, Pattinson and Lautner, according to The Hollywood Reporter. And since a fifth film wasn’t part of their original contracts – not to mention that they’re all certifiable movie stars now – in order to secure the trio, Summit will most likely have to dish out a pretty penny (I’d say upwards of $15-20 million for all three).
ROBERT PATTINSON ANSWERS QUESTIONS ABOUT “REMEMBER ME”
Robert Pattinson answers fan questions in a series of “Ask Rob” clips to promote his upcoming film, “Remember Me”. This clip features Rob’s response to a fan’s question about having a little sister in the film. “Remember Me” opens in theaters on March 12 and fans will also be treated to the first trailer from “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.”
ROBERT PATTINSON AND KRISTEN STEWART TO APPEAR AT BAFTA AWARDS THIS WEEKEND
As you may recall, Kristen Stewart is nominated for a BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Awards) in the category of Rising Star. Other nominees for the award include Jesse Eisenberg (her “Adventureland” co-star), Nicholas Hoult, Carey Mulligan, and Tahar Rahim. Robert Pattinson is slated to be a presenter at the award ceremony, but the category for which he is presenting has not been revealed.
The red carpet coverage will air on Sunday, February 21 on BBC Three at 7:30 PM (GMT) and the ceremony will air on BBC One beginning at 9:00 PM (GMT).
Fans outside of the UK can watch the awards on BBC America on Sunday, February 21 at 8 PM (EST) and 7:30 PM (PST).
JACKSON RATHBONE TALKS “ECLIPSE” AND “THE LAST AIRBENDER”
In this clip, Jackson Rathbone talks about how his work on “The Last Airbender” prepared him for the fight scenes as Jasper Hale in “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse”.
NSFW OR FOR KIDS – OUTTAKES FROM ROBERT PATTINSON’S DETAILS MAGAZINE PHOTO SHOOT
Once again, we issue a caution for the pictures. They aren’t for the faint of heart, workplace, or the underage. Details Magazine just posted some of the outtakes from the uber-racy Robert Pattinson photo shoot on their website. I must admit that I am particularly fond of the second one in the set. The intense look in his eyes is amazing!
I am so looking forward to seeing the “Eclipse” trailer on March 12th. I am hoping for a glimpse of the proposal scene in there. I’m sure that we’ll see some fight scenes, but I really want to see some of the “chick moments” to get a feel for how things might look in the final product. I have to admit that I’m afraid of it being too dark or to action-oriented.
Ugh! I’m so tired of the speculation on “Breaking Dawn”. I wish that they would just hurry up and decide on something. They know that the actors are willing to do two films and an overwhelming majority of the fans are up for it, so why not go for it and get the ball rolling!

TWILIGHT SAGA NEWS FOR FEBRUARY 19TH
Author: ifellhard | Filed under: Movie News, News Blog
“THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE” TRAILER TO HIT THEATERS ON MARCH 12
Summit Entertainment tweeted yesterday on the official “Twilight” Twitter account that the first trailer for “Eclipse” will hit theaters on March 12. The trailer will be shown prior to the studio’s much-anticipated “Remember Me” featuring Robert Pattinson.
KRISTEN STEWART ADDRESSES “BREAKING DAWN” 3-D RUMORS AND SAYS THAT THE BOOK WARRANTS TWO FILMS
MTV.com recently featured two articles about Kristen Stewart’s thoughts on the much-buzzed-about filming of “Breaking Dawn” and the rumors of the film being done in 3-D. Kristen told MTV that she didn’t feel that the entire film warranted 3-D and that certain scenes, like the bloody birth of Renesmee, shouldn’t be shot in 3-D.
“No, I don’t think that should be [in 3-D],” she laughed, admitting that the birth scene was among the moments she was suggesting should be “selectively” shot in normal 2-D. “Also, you don’t want Renesmee to be scary. You don’t want her to fly into your face.”
She also told MTV that she felt that “Breaking Dawn” warrants two films and that she is willing to do two more installments as Bella Swan. She brought up the key point that so many Twi-Hards have argued in favor of two films in that so much of the book’s content would have to be cut to do one film, losing much of the story.
“It would be a six-month shoot [if we made two movies back-to-back], compared to a three-month shoot,” Kristen explained, indicating that she has discussed the options with those involved. “It would be much more satisfying to do [two films], because we wouldn’t have to drop so much of the story; it wouldn’t be like, ‘Well, we didn’t get to do this scene, this scene or this scene.’ You’d get less of that — which would be good.”
RACHELLE LAFEVRE JOINS MEDICAL DRAMA
“Twilight” alumna Rachelle Lefevre will play a lead role in “ER” creator John Wells’ new medical drama for CBS.
The untitled project centers on a mobile medical team that travels the U.S. helping those in need get through life-or-death medical crises. Lefevre will play a confident young doctor more comfortable in the field than in the office.
KRISTEN STEWART AND TAYLOR LAUTNER HEADED TO OSCARS
AccessHollywood.com is reporting that “Twilight” stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will both be presenters at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards being held in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 7.
“It’s really cool,” she said told Access Hollywood at “The Yellow Handkerchief” LA premiere on Thursday when asked about presenting at the ceremony. “I’m glad I get to do it with [Taylor] too because I’d be so nervous.”
The 19-year-old actress told E! Online’s Marc Malkin that she’s already hunting for just the right pair of shoes.
“I’ve been looking at shoes,” she said. “I’m trying to pick shoes that I know I won’t fall down in.”
ROBERT PATTINSON TALKS ABOUT HIS “REMEMBER ME” CHARACTER
Robert Pattinson discusses his character, Tyler, in a newly released clip on Yahoo! Movies from his upcoming film, “Remember Me”. The film hits theaters on March 12.
Kristen Stewart and Eddie Redmayne filmed The Yellow Handkerchief back in 2007, but, after Stewart received formidable attention coming off of her work in Twilight and The Twilight Saga: New Moon, it was announced that The Yellow Handkerchief would be distributed by Samuel Goldwyn Pictures and that it would be shown on a fledgling pay cable as well.
Today, Stewart and Redmayne teamed up for a series of press interviews to promote the film, and several video interviews were done.
GREAT SPOOF! KRISTEN STEWART TO PLAY MILEY CYRUS IN BIOPIC ABOUT TAYLOR SWIFT
I had to throw this one in from thespoof.com because I just couldn’t resist. Just the mental image of Kristen Stewart dressed like Miley Cyrus is enough to make me giggle. To envision her behaving like her is enough to make me double over in a fit of laughter.
Hollywood actress and Twilight Star Kristen Stewart will play Hannah Montana actress Miley Cyrus in an upcoming biopic of recent Grammy winning country singer Taylor Swift. This information was according to Cheryl Cole, who said that she received the information from friend and co-worker on The X-Factor Simon Cowell (who Cole says is also producing the movie).
Paris Hilton, who has seen the working copy of the script, says that there is no part of Miley Cyrus in the movie. She further states that Britney Spears will play the part of Taylor Swift and that Spears will have a radical masectomy in order to prepare for the part. Hilton also confirmed that Madonna will play the role of Swift’s mother and that Chelsea Clinton, daughter of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton, will play a horse in the movie.
Does anyone else have the feeling that Summit knows exactly what they want to do with “Breaking Dawn”, but are just holding back on the announcement for an opportune press moment?
Do you plan to see “Remember Me”? Does the “Eclipse” trailer tie-in to the movie’s release impact your decision to see it at all? I was already planning to go see it and the fact that the trailer is showing before it (which I predicted months ago, BTW) just makes it even better!!
I like that Kristen and Taylor will get to present at the Oscars. They are both very talented and I hope that this opportunity leads them to great new projects. I’m also glad to see that “The Yellow Handkerchief” landed a distributor. It looks interesting from what I’ve read and seen so far.
I couldn’t resist the inclusion of the spoof. It’s been a long week and I totally laughed out loud at the thought of Kristen Stewart playing Miley Cyrus. The comments about Britney Spears needing boob reduction to portray Taylor Swift were pretty funny as well.
